Disney goes Catwalk

For their 20th Birthday Anniversary Disneyland Paris are going catwalk crazy and have asked designers from all over the world to design clothes for their beloved characters to showcase on their Disney Catwalk in Paris.

Proudly representing the UK at this fabulous event is UK born brand, Sister by Sibling who have had the honor to recreate one of Disney's most loved princesses, Cinderella.

The idea behind the outfit was inspired by Cinderella's stunning blue ball gown that she is famously known wearing in the scene where she loses her glass slipper after meeting Prince Charming.

The brand trio have played on the fact that Cinerella's best friends -  3 mice Jack, Gus and Mary - helped her get to the ball so now it is their turn and boy will she be looking good when she arrives on the catwalk with the help of these 3 designers.   The three designers (Joe Bates, Sid Bryan and Cozette McCreery) come from places all over England and ended up collaberating together after working in various design houses themseleves.

The catwalk will take place on the 23rd of March within Disneyland Paris.

I love how this brand market themselves and these 3 seem so down to earth!

Their trademark piece is traditional knitwear designs or techniques so the Knit Moster Scare Isle comes to mind.  The ideal client for them would be a girl with a good sense on humour and a fun, happy attitidue (This is totally me. I SWEAR) and their cultural influences are ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS music and art.
